Seal text with a password.
Turn any text into a string only your password opens. Paste it anywhere: a note, a chat, an email. Everything happens in this browser tab.
Runs in your browser. Your text and password are never sent anywhere.
Anyone can see this string. Only the password turns it back into text, here or in any copy of this page.
Closing the tab also clears it. Nothing is stored, not even in this browser.
Nothing leaves the tab
The server only sends this page. Encryption runs in your browser, the page is not allowed to send anything anywhere, and there are no trackers.
A slow key, on purpose
Your password becomes a key through Argon2id (64 MiB, 3 passes), which makes every guess expensive. The text is then sealed with AES-256-GCM.
Tamper-evident
If one character of the string changes, it won’t open. You get an error, never garbled text. A wrong password looks exactly the same.
